I thought I'd begin this list with an attempt to sum up 2009 from my own blinkered point of view, but the more I thought about it, the more pointless it seemed. It's impossible to keep up with everything; I suppose within the narrow spectrum of music I listen to in the name of this blog I've seen a slight move away from disco and "balearic pop", towards house, and "hypnagogic pop".
