Following a successful residency at Pianos in the Lower East Side and a spattering of solid press touting their tunes, Mon Khmer have become a band to watch out for in 2010. Their music is definitely worthy, opting not for the sound of the moment but a more classic version of rock music. It's solid and driving and really has us excited for what to expect from these guys in the coming year.
