Sometimes it feels like a stretch in order to put together a collection of the year's best; this time around, it was difficult to cut it down to a solid 20. The video's I have selected show the full range of moodier music videos, from big-budget successes to the D.I.Y. goofs. Some were picked because they're the work of boundary breaking directors, in each case these are videos I think you'll want to watch on your computer, perhaps over and over.
