
My introduction to Vic Chesnutt came through the 2004 Daniel Johnston compilation, The Late Great Daniel Johnston: Discovered Covered . In many ways it was the perfect pairing, with one near otherworldly yet wholeheartedly and deeply human voice singing for another. The world will miss Mr. Chesnutt.
