The Californian duo known as Furcast is comprised of Johann Carbajal and Vincent Mazza. Their 22 minute EP Together reminds of a trip-hop version of an Omar Rodriguez-Lopez album and the track below, "Grey is Old," may help give you more of an understanding as to where I am coming from. Either way, this haunting track moves beautifully from its mellow drum beat and drowned out vocals to its heavy metal bridge and then right back into the trippy beats and distant horns.
