As the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) trade show wraps up in Anaheim this weekend, obviously the biggest buzz overall was about the huge Serato/Ableton collaboration. The ability to incorporate production seamlessly into live, vinyl/cdj controlled DJ sets is going to be a massive game-changer in the coming years. HOWEVER, there were still another few exciting product announcements made at the show, including a slimmed down AKAI Ableton controller, a Rane DJM-800 lookalike with Serato built in, and two different CDJ-style midi controllers.
