
Preservation Hall, despite it's name, seems anything but preserved. The New Orleans building was built in 1750, opened its doors as a music venue in 1961, and has survived several fires as well as the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina. With no running water or air conditioning, maybe it's about time the legendary venue got it's own benefit album.
