
A sweet drone commences on the lead out track of Postdata’s self titled debut, and the listener is whisked away into a dreamland of fallen stars and debris. The first solo album for the Nova Scotia based artist and Wintersleep member Paul Murphy, the album bares resemblance to Wintersleep’s own debut, but hearkens more to a stripped down, ‘lo-fi’ sound, comparable to early Iron and Wine, Pedro the Lion or Elliott Smith; maybe a little less brooding though and instead more contemplative.
