With the announcement today by Mr. Chris "Wisconsin" Johnson of the end of The Deep Blues Festival I thought it only fitting to re-post the first spiel I wrote about the fest and wht I thought it was about and what I thought the music was about. I can't thank Chris enough for letting me be involved and for backing up so many bands that he and I and the rest of the DBF volunteers were deeply passionate about.
