In the past, the music of Horse Feathers—the vehicle for Justin Ringle's absolutely beautiful folk songs—has often been associated with the winter. That's not to say that Ringle's tunes are cold, but on the band's last album, 2008's House With No Home , he wrote songs about loneliness and isolation that just screamed (OK, whispered) for a snowy morning and a cup of tea.
