The xx have essentially made everyone's lives better, wouldnt you agree? They come along, unannounced and unexpected and make a huge fuss of their gothic-post-punk-drummy music. Its beautiful really, its something your girlfriend wants to have sex while listening to; the band has never shied away from remixes, and now comes the song "Island" as the subject.
