Finally confirming what everybody's believed since 1993 or so, MTV has dropped the "music television" from its newly redesigned logo . This is the first logo makeover for the Viacom company since it's inception roughly 30 years ago. It's a minor change, but a fairly telling one, nonetheless. According to a press release: "The logo is part of MTV's re-invention to connect with today's millennial generation and bring them in as part of the channel." Okay, whatever.
