It's Tuesday, that means that it's time for Drag City to put up another song from Joanna Newsom's forthcoming Have One On Me. This week's effort is a 9-minute long number called "Kingfisher", it's very reminiscent of material from Ys. The closing section of it also reminds me of some of the material from Sufjan Stevens' "A Sun Came". Very medieval. I have to say that I'm beginning to feel a little less convinced about this upcoming record. "81" was fantastic but I wasn't exactly blown away by last week's [...]
