Royal Bangs out of Knoxville, Tennessee are one of my favorite bands out there right now. We've seen them a handful of times at Skull Alley and at Forecastle last year and each time they pick up more and more fans. They returned to Louisville last Friday and opened for The Whigs to a full house (they are touring with We Were Promised Jetpacks later this month).
