
The original Mass Effect is still one of my favorite games. It's an epic space opera from BioWare that presented a stunningly broad sci-fi universe which mixed the political intrigue of Star Trek with the exotic aliens and mystical powers of Star Wars. There was combat that blended modern third-person shooting with stop-and-go squad tactics for the ultimate in space warfare.
