Thaddeus Johnson had it right when he stated "it's complete and utter agony." It certainly was, as we had to wait for weeks of endless audition episodes and the longest Hollywood week ever (three weeks that is) to finally get to our Top 24 contenders on season 9 of American Idol . We suffered through numerous terrible auditions, multiple contestants with tear-filled backgrounds who were mercilously dropped by the judges too soon and several useless guest judges.
