I've gotten behind on photos; these are from last week at the Knitting Factory, but that's no reason to forget about Will Stratton. Will is a singer-songwriter, but rarely falls prey to typical singer-songwriter pitfalls. A picture-perfect clear voice and subtle but emotional songwriting will appeal to fans of Sufjan and graduates of small liberal arts colleges alike (Stratton is a recent graduate of one himself, and so many of his lyrics are influenced by that experience that, well, listen to a few of his tracks and you'll see what I mean).
