His time with Red House Painters in 1989, relocating to San Francisco, breaking up with Red House Painters in 2001, dropping his debut solo album, Rock'n'Roll Singer EP , a collection of covers, Ghosts of the Great Highway (one of my favorite albums) as Sun Kil Moon (featuring Koutsos ).
