There's something about Stricken City 's sound that makes it so inextricably london . Not that it's a bad thing. I really like the kinda messy guitars and Rebekah Raa's quirky vocals. Songs About People I Know was a very good ep (with tracks like Small Things and PS being firm favorites), much more urgent than the new ep, Animal Festival , which is slightly more subdued, as though the band's taking a step back to contemplate this release from afar.
