
Moody British troubadour Richard Hawley 's songs are full of classic poetic imagery, and on his new EP, False Lights from the Land , he focused on one particularly resonant image, that of the ocean. Due out on Mute on June 8, the four-track release will feature two covers and two Hawley originals, all with a nautical bent. On the RH-penned side of things, there's "Remorse Code," which was first heard on Hawley's last full-length, 2009's Truelove's Gutter , as well as "The Storm," which sees the light of day for the first time here.
