Louisville's neighborhood to the north, NEW ALBANY, is turning 200 soon, and is celebrating by commissioning area artists to create public sculptures that relate to New Albany's rich history (seriously, there's some history there). Artists include Brad White (of The Pine Club fame), John King (of the infamous fame), Valerie Fauchs, Leticia Bajuyo, and Daniel Graham. on Friday May 21st from 6-9 pm there will be festivities, tours, and the like. starts at the Carnegie Center (201 East Spring Street). one of Mr. King's glass sculptures.
