Blog: You Set the Scene

I made it out to Aquarium Drunkard's No Jacket Required last weekend in Chinatown. Lord Huron played their first show ever and brought out a good, early crowd who were really into their Vampire Weekend/Fleet Foxes/Local Natives vibe. I'd been hearing a lot about John Carpenter and he didn't disappoint. There's a little bit of cognitive disonance between his look and sound - a preppy looking guy doing Craig Wedren-esque vocal gymnastics over a Cream-esque heavy blues sound.
