It's been a fast and furious journey for MGMT since they burst onto the scene in 2007 with their psychedelic synth-pop. Signing with Columbia Records and later being named Spin , Rolling Stone , BBC and Last.fm's Artist of the Year (amongst other fancy honors) was only the beginning of MGMT's rise to crossover stardom.
