I must say I was swayed by The Boxing Lesson . These 3 (now 2?) folks out of Austin. Their story is this: they got their gear stolen from their apartment, which somehow by the grace of god, managed to find its way back to them with the help of the friendly guys at LAPD. By then they'd moved to Austin, found a lovely house and started writing songs on a 4-track. It stops short of being earth-shatteringly epic because of that, but the result is spacey, experiemental drawn out songs in mid-fi. [...]
