Amy Winehouse, who has teetered on the brink of Pete Doherty since her break-through album Back in Black made her an international household name back in 2007, has been relatively headline free as of late. Her vacation from the music industry is a ballsy move, especially in an era of such fleeting consumption that bands are forgotten almost as quickly as they are built up.
