In the weeks that follow, plenty of New Years Eve options will surely present itself. But only one will feature aliens, beach balls, and The Soft Bulletin played in its entirety. That is unless there's a Flaming Lips cover band I'm unaware of. Anyhow, yes, The Flaming Lips will play their 1999 masterpiece - in its entirety - on December 31st in their hometown of Oklahoma City.
