I realized today that I hate funerals. It's not for the reason that someone died, I actually handle that quite well... and it's not because everyone else is sad... It's something more. My grandmother passed away this week. She was almost 91 years old. I felt the sadness, the guilt and regret for not seeing her more, the usual crap you feel when someone passes away, but I was happy she lived a good, long life and she died peacefully and not in pain.
