As far as Canadian music collectives go Broken Social Scene stand clearly at the top. Prior to BSS, K.C. Accidental was the recording outlet of Broken Social Scene’s Kevin Drew and Charles Spearin. They released two albums in the late nineties: Captured Anthems For An Empty Bathtub and Anthems For The Could’ve Bin Pills . They have been out of print for five years and never been available outside of Canada until last month when they were reissued by Arts & Crafts .  Good stuff.
