
Again I write the Sunday Morning post from the great state of Ohio. It's biting cold and grey skies seem to dictate to me what music to listen to, more of an order and less of a choice. "A Minor Place" off Bonnie "Prince" Billy's critically heralded album I See A Darkness seems only appropriate- with it's seemingly familiar melody, and beautifully spaced instrumentation. Digging into the song lyrically one question's what the minor place is- a depression, a heaven, a place of less emphasis - similar questions that arise when revisiting a place once familiar. [...]
