You’ve got to give it to Sonny Smith – he sure is a prolific kind of fellow. This track, ‘Throw My Ashes From This Pier When I Die’, is taken from his ‘100 Records Project’ and is out on December 11. It’s a rootsy track, with stripped down guitar and country sentiments, perfect for whittling to. The track itself is part of an EP which also features songs from a long-lost band called The Transients. How lost they were and for how long, we’re not sure. But we’re glad they’re back.
