
Who doesn't love Wire? One could make the case that without these guys it would have made for a quite barren indie scene in England the last decade. No blueprint for the likes of Bloc Party, Maximo Park or Franz Ferdinand to take notes from. We would have been left with more open mouth frothing over the White Stripes and the Fillers, to name a couple of time wasters. Wire, you see, were the real deal.
