As a lifelong resident of the District, you can't help but feel a bit peeved when those living well outside of its borders claim virtual residency in the nation's capital.  For the duration of this post, however, I'd like to extend these oft-abused hometown rights to southern Virginia - Blacksburg to be exact - so I can proudly support Dream Cop as a local act.  Tommy Davidson, the man behind the project, produces some hauntingly atmospheric music, drawing heavily from the annals of shoegaze, that I find surprisingly hard to get out of my head.  The latest from [...]
