
Smith Westerns sophomore effort, officially released today, comes complete with all the toe-tapping, catchy rifts and stuck-in-your-head lyrics as their first self-titled album recorded back in 2009. Listeners originally drawn to them won’t be disappointed with the 60’s pop vibe that still resonates with the band’s mythology, but what it lacks is the low-fi, basement sound that was so evident in their first.
