In a red and white-framed black letter yesterday, The White Stripes formally announced their end after 13 years together. I remember the first time I saw that Michel Gondry directed crazy awesome lego video for 'Fell In Love With A Girl' almost a decade ago, and then sitting in a hotel room late at night watching red, white and black telescoping triangles set to 'Seven Nation Army' - a song that would stay stuck in my head intermittently for the rest of my life.
