Grammy award-winning Beninise singer-songwriter Angélique Kidjo will play two dates in Mumbai next month. Kidjo's official website confirms that the Afropop legend will hit Indian shores in March, with gigs scheduled at the Blue Frog and the NCPA. Kidjo is one of the most influential and iconic figures in African music. She has released nine studio album, with Djin Djin (2007) winning her a Grammy for Best Contemporary World Music Album.
