
My preconceptions of Drum and Bass came from what I had heard, the equivalent of brostep in dubstep. I was really naïve and should have realised that there is always an underground actually pushing boundaries. Based on this reasoning, maybe my next step is trance. The first real investigation came from Dev Sherlock's suggestion of DJ Marky's Fabric mix, mainly made up of the subgenre of Liquid Drum and Bass.
