San Francisco, CA (February 22, 2011) – In a letter to University of San Francisco (USF) President Father Stephen Privett, state Senator Leland Yee (D-San Francisco) urged Privett “to proceed in a manner that allows for reasonable public notice and gives the community of San Francisco the opportunity to keep KUSF 90.3 FM on the air.” Senator Yee’s action came a week after the San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted to strongly oppose the proposed sale of KUSF's broadcast license.
