Wavves released his video for King of the Beach a couple of days ago and the ironic ode was visually as catchy as the song. For that we have to thank Aaron Brown & Ben Chappell, the directors behind Focus Creeps . They first came to my attention when they shot the Girls’ Lust for Life and Hellhole Ratrace videos. They lacked the mirror effects and overlap Chappell and Brown frequently employ but were drenched in a feel good vibe that probably made every kid want to pack his or her bags and be forever young in San Francisco.
