The story behind Thao and Mirah's forthcoming album is pretty simple. They realized they wanted to collaborate after touring together for several months. But at that time, Thao Nguyen was playing with her other gig, Thao With The Get Down Stay Down, while Mirah opened. And now, with their self-titled debut due out next month, the duo will be heading out on the road in support of the project. So far, they have only announced a West Coast leg for their tour.
