As the unofficially official wunderkind of the dubstep modernist set (and currently most important name you need to know in music), James Blake had a lot of expectation laid upon him when he took the stage during SXSW 2011 at Stubb's Bar-B-Que last night. The results speak for themselves: his precociousness never overshadowed his soul-stirring performance, and the audience seemed to pay nearly rapt attention to him - a stunning accomplishment for an artist performing outside at Stubbs.
