After making several albums with his band, Jim Ivins goes solo for a new EP entitled "Late Night Drive." Drawing influences from such artists as Sufjan Stevens, Jon Foreman and Ryan Adams, Ivins takes his normal dreamy pop rock into a brand new direction while still keeping what made his music so good to begin with. This new record is being considered Ivins' mature album and he has definitely set it up a notch in music and lyrical quality.
