Royal Bangs (@royalbangs) put on a damn good rock show at The Knitting Factory on Tuesday night. The three piece was boisterous, aggressive, and electric on stage, creating a full sound that generally requires a few additional hands to achieve. Fueled by some enormous but intricate percussive magic from Chris Rusk, the crowd easily erupted past the casual indie shuffle during the set (particularly one guy who I'm pretty sure was about to spontaneously combust).
