Blog: Listen Before You Buy

If you say that you've thought of putting The National on the soundtrack to ANY video game, then I say you're a liar. Surely this is something that shouldn't work, or happen, or even come about it, but somehow they've ended up on the soundtrack to Portal 2, a science-fiction based puzzle game.  I never played the first installment although I heard plenty about it, and I'm not sure how this fits into the game's soundscape when the first game was almost all ambient/instrumental music.
