Last August, Grateful Dead/Furthur bassist Phil Lesh made a surprise appearance at one of Levon Helm's Midnight Rambles at The Band drummer's studio in Woodstock, NY. Phil opened the night along with his sons performing a set of GD classics before sitting in for a few tunes on bass during Helm's set.
