Blog: Latest Disgrace

I recently received the debut five-song EP from Cute Boots in my email and I immediately did that pompous, narrow-minded thing where I dismissed the band based on their name alone. Yes, it’s dickish but in my defense I believe there it’s a reasonable expectation that a band’s name is at least somewhat reflective of their music. I don’t know what you would expect musically from a group that goes by the name of Cute effin’ Boots, but me, I’m thinking crap. Shows what I know.
