Back when college drop out was released, Kanye had the track School Spirit . I'm not sure if all of you knew this, but Aretha Franklin told Kanye's camp that she wouldn't clear the sample unless the track was a clean version on the album. So they agreed and the censored version ended up on the first release of College Dropout . Over time the uncensored version had surfaced and was eventually released on Kanye's remastered version of College Dropout . S/O to FSD for the reminder.
