On "Home Is a Fire", the opening track of Death Cab for Cutie 's seventh studio album, Codes and Keys, Ben Gibbard sings of "attempting a clean break, with nowhere left to go"-appropriately addressing the album's place in the Seattle institution's extended catalog.
