Blog: Hotcakes

Radio 1 premiered Kasabian's first song from their upcoming fourth album last night. It's pretty impressive. The album is going to be called Velociraptor! and it will see daylight in September. The track is called Switchblade Smiles, and it is very reminiscent of 'Vlad the Impaler' from their previous album. It also reminds me, quite unexpectedly of The Prodigy, with its build up and repeated one-liners. Kasabian have always liked to think of themselves and boundary pushers, different to other indie/rock bands, and this new track is pretty evident of that. [...]
