Yes, you read that correctly. WEEZER, the pop group helmed by Rivers Cuomo, is headlining this year’s five-day punk rock hootenanny known as Riot Fest . The festival returns to town October 5-9. Also on the bill this year are Social Distortion, X (playing their 1980 album Los Angeles ), Descendents, ALL, Helmet, Strike Anywhere and several Chicago acts including The Tossers, The Crombies and Nachtmystium.
