Beirut 's third LP titled " The Rip Tide " will be released August 30th via Zach Condon's label Pompeii Records. This is decidedly more of a pop record. It's the most accessible, while maintaining that unique Beirut sound. Trumpets, drums, organs- all lending to that Balkan/Jazz/Waltz kind of sound. Tracks like "Santa Fe" have a Sufjan Stevens "All Delighted People" with a little more of that 802s pop synth quality.
